Are you ready to begin a new healing and learning journey with Jin Shin
Do® Bodymind Acupressure™ If you are ready
to satisfy your curiosity, please confirm you can attend and register for, or possibly even host a class at your location.
Are you curious to explore and access the primary channels of energy in our bodies
called the Extraordinary Vessels/Embryonic Vessels/Strange Flows/Psychic Channels to support yours and others healing? Are you curious to learn how to access these reservoirs of energy along with the eight bodymind Segments formulated by
Wilhelm Reich by initially using a basic set of at least 55 basic acu-points to help manage stress and tension in your body? Do you know that Jin Shin
Do® is a unique form of acupressure blending theories from both Eastern and Western
origins, that can be integrated into your own self-healing, your care for others, or into your professional therapy practice as a hands-on way of gently accessing and balancing physical and emotional stress and tension?
If you are ready
to satisfy your curiosity, please confirm you can attend and register for, or possibly even host a class at your location for one of the following:
Jin Shin Do®, meaning "The Way of the Compassionate Spirit", is a complete body-mind system of acupressure, which uses safe, gentle yet deep finger pressure for the deep release of muscular tension and to stimulate and balance the
body's energy (Qi). Similar in theory to acupuncture, but without the use of needles, Jin Shin Do® acupressure uses finger pressure on acu-points, along with body-focusing techniques, as a way of accessing, releasing and balancing the flow of
vital energy in the body to relieve physical and emotional stress and pain. The removal of energy blockages maintains and restores good health and facilitates the body's innate healing ability.
In Basic Jin Shin Do®, the first of four
courses comprising the first 150-hours of theory and technique in Module I of the JSD practitioner certification requirements, you will learn:
Acupressure theory and 55 acu-point locations in relation to surrounding anatomy.
How to help people enter a deep state of relaxation and release pain and tensions.
A simple release method using a colour-coded chart of local and distal points.
A segmental release method, based on Wilhelm Reich's theory of horizontal bands of muscular armoring, using acu-point combinations for common problems.
The 8 "Extraordinary Vessels", Strange Flows or Embryonic Vessels, the energetic blueprint of the bodymind, and practice using their points for balancing the entire
energy body and for general relaxation.
Process the feelings and images which may arise from the body during a release.
How to perform simple movements (Korean Qi Gong- The Eight Silken Movements) to facilitate relaxation and structural energetic balancing. (Qi Gong will be practiced
outside each day weather permitting.)
